The Greater Manchester Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a man named Ryan Holden who breached a restraining order and is now on the run. Holden is said to be from the Salford area and he is believed to be referred to by the nickname ‘Snibs.’
Holden is known to have links to Eccles as well as Manchester City Centre, according to a press release issued by the Greater Manchester Police. Holden is 27 years old, and was released from prison in May of this year after being jailed in March of 2019 for breach of a restraining order.
His picture is being shared on social media in hopes of drumming up some information on the case. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the case aside from the fact that he broke a restraining order, apparently for the second time, and is currently on the run from Salford.
Anybody with any information on Holden is being asked to contact police on 0161 856 5238 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

Unfortunately, it appears that the social media posts shared by police have gotten very little attention, and nobody seems to recognize the man or have any information on him. However, police suspect that he is still in the area considering how long-distance travel is much more difficult this year amid the pandemic. It is also unlikely that he had the means or ability to leave the country without being detected by authorities. Everyone in the Greater Manchester region should be on the lookout for this individual.
Greater Manchester Police was formed in 1974, serving more than 2.5 million people and covering an area of 500 square miles. GMP is split into 12 divisions – Bolton, Bury, Metropolitan, North Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, South Manchester, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan. There is also a specialist division based at Manchester International Airport.
