A man was arrested after police were called to the lavish wedding reception of Venezuela Fury, the teenage daughter of former heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, following reports of a disturbance at a luxury hotel on the Isle of Man.
Officers were dispatched to the Comis Hotel in Santon on Saturday evening after what witnesses described as a brawl breaking out during the wedding celebrations for 16-year-old Venezuela Fury and her husband Noah Price, 19. Four police vehicles were reportedly seen arriving at the venue while guests continued celebrating inside.
The Isle of Man Constabulary later confirmed that a man had been arrested and cautioned in connection with a licensing offence. In a statement reported by several outlets, police said: “The Isle of Man Constabulary can confirm that officers were called to attend The Comis Hotel, Santon on the evening of Saturday 16th May 2026.
“A man was arrested and subsequently cautioned with a licensing offence.”
The force said it could not comment further on the identity of the individual involved or the precise circumstances surrounding the incident. Reports from the scene suggested officers were seen searching a man outside the hotel before placing him into a police van. Witnesses also claimed an evidence bag containing cash and a mobile phone was examined by officers.
According to reports, hotel staff contacted police after an argument among guests escalated during the evening reception. A source quoted by the Daily Mail claimed the incident was “nothing serious” but said staff did not want to take risks given the size and profile of the event.
Despite the disruption, celebrations reportedly continued late into the night at the four-star resort following the ceremony earlier in the day at the Royal Chapel of St John the Baptist on the Isle of Man.
The wedding attracted widespread attention due to Venezuela Fury’s age and her famous boxing family. Under Isle of Man law, 16 and 17-year-olds are permitted to marry with parental consent. Venezuela, the eldest daughter of Tyson and Paris Fury, became engaged to amateur boxer Noah Price during her 16th birthday celebrations last year.
Images and videos shared online showed an extravagant ceremony featuring a 50-foot lace wedding dress train, 18 bridesmaids, a towering wedding cake and a performance from singer Peter Andre. The event is also understood to have been filmed for the family’s Netflix reality series “At Home With The Furys”.
Tyson Fury walked his daughter down the aisle and later delivered an emotional speech during the reception. Reports said several well-known family members and friends attended the event, including influencer Molly-Mae Hague and her daughter Bambi, who served as a bridesmaid. Tommy Fury was absent due to a boxing training camp ahead of his upcoming fight with Eddie Hall, according to family representatives.
The incident briefly overshadowed what had otherwise been a lavish family celebration, though police confirmed no further action beyond the caution had been announced publicly.
