A prison guard accused of engaging in sexual activities with an inmate, captured on an explicit video filmed inside a jail cell, has been spotted out and about.
Linda De Sousa Abreu, dressed in a white crop top, was seen in Hammersmith, West London. This comes after she tried to avoid photographers at court last week. The married mother was seen shopping at Poundland, Greggs, and Dunkin’ Donuts while out on bail.
Despite the scandal, Linda was still wearing her wedding ring and appeared to be accompanied by her mother on Friday. The viral video from HMP Wandsworth led to her being recognized by passersby. To conceal her identity, she later bought a large hoodie from Primark.
Linda appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on charges of misconduct in public office. She confirmed her name, date of birth, and address during the brief hearing. The court heard she was arrested at Heathrow Airport while attempting to fly to Madrid, having informed the prison of her travel plans.
She was granted bail with conditions, including a ban on entering any UK travel ports and a curfew from 7 pm to 9 am. Her next court appearance is scheduled for July 29 at Isleworth Crown Court for a plea hearing.
The Metropolitan Police began investigating after being alerted to the video allegedly filmed inside HMP Wandsworth, which showed a prison officer having sex with an inmate. Linda was arrested the same day on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
Originally from Brazil, Linda shares an OnlyFans account with her husband. A Prison Service spokesperson stated, “Staff corruption is not tolerated, and the former prison officer allegedly featured in this video has been reported to the police. It would be inappropriate to comment further while the investigation is ongoing.”
Meanwhile, the inmate allegedly involved in the video is fitness influencer Linton Weirich, 36, serving time at HMP Wandsworth for a £65,000 burglary in Kensington, West London, in March 2022. He was reportedly recorded by another inmate during the incident with the female guard.
Linton’s Instagram showcases him in designer clothes and jewelry at various upscale London venues. In one photo, he poses with chains, rings, and a large watch at Mayfair’s Sexy Fish restaurant. Other pictures feature him at The Shard and The Ned private members’ club, flaunting large chains and a Louis Vuitton bag. His TikTok account includes numerous topless workout videos where he performs high-intensity exercises, describing himself as an “online coach, personal trainer, and musician.”
