Activists Dig Up Greens and Spray ‘Gaza is Not 4 Sale’ on Prestigious Course
Pro-Palestine protesters have vandalised Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf course in Scotland, digging up parts of the prestigious links and spraying political messages across the site.
The protest, carried out by activist group Palestine Action, targeted the five-star golf resort after Trump recently proposed a controversial plan to redevelop Gaza into a luxury tourism destination.

A spokesperson for Palestine Action added:
“Palestine Action rejects Donald Trump’s treatment of Gaza as though it were his property to dispose of as he likes. To make that clear, we have shown him that his own property is not safe from acts of resistance.”
Trump’s Controversial ‘Gaza Resort’ Plan
The vandalism follows backlash over Trump’s AI-generated promotional video that imagined Gaza as a luxury destination, featuring:
• Trump-branded hotels
• Golden statues of Trump
• Tourists enjoying beaches
• Elon Musk tossing money to visitors
Critics have slammed the proposal, arguing it ignores the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region.
Trump defended his vision, stating:
“Gaza in its current state is uninhabitable for any human being. My plan will allow Palestinians to resettle in new, beautiful communities while improving conditions for generations to come.”

Trump Turnberry’s £1,000 Green Fee Set to Make It UK’s Most Expensive Course
The incident comes just months before Trump Turnberry is set to introduce a £1,000 green fee for peak times, making it the most expensive golf course in the UK.
Turnberry, which Trump purchased for $60 million in 2014, has been the subject of controversy in the golf world, with officials refusing to host The Open Championship there under his ownership.
Pro-Palestine Protests Continue in London
The Turnberry protest comes on the same day as:
• A pro-Palestine activist scaling Big Ben, forcing the closure of Westminster Bridge
• A major demonstration planned outside BBC Broadcasting House
Meanwhile, tensions continue to escalate internationally, with Hamas issuing threats and Trump warning the group to release hostages or face further military action.
Authorities are investigating the Turnberry incident, but no arrests have been confirmed.
