40-year-old, Deano Churchill-Richards kidnapped a young girl, age thirteen after meeting her in a park took her home and raped her in his flat.
Churchill-Richards then loaded her up on alcohol and gave her a “psychoactive” drug before raping her inside his flat located at Wreford Crescent. Churchhill-Richards tried to stop the victim leaving his property on Wreford Crescent in Leicester. But the thirteen young girl was able to make her escape from the attacker and a good Samaritan of the public expressed concern who contacted police, Leicester mercury reported.
Leicestershire Police released details of the “wicked act” case in a published statement.
In the presser on their website, the police said: “Having met the victim – aged just 13 – at a park, he gave her alcohol and provided her with a canister containing a psychoactive substance.
“After a while, Churchill-Richards called for a taxi and together they went back to his flat where they continued drinking before he carried out his attack.
“When the victim tried to leave the flat, he tried to stop her but she was able to make good her escape.”
The despicable incident occured in Wreford Crescent, Thurnby Lodge an area of Leicester, on the evening of Monday, April 20th. A court was told the man’s disturbing crime, noting that he took her by taxi back to his home in Thurnby Lodge.
A Leicester Crown Court heard the sad bloke’s case today, finding Churchill-Richards guilty.
Following trial, Churchill-Richards was convicted today 21st of October, of two counts of rape – both relating to the one victim – and two counts of supplying a psychoactive substance – relating to the victim and another unknown girl.
The disgusting bloke was some how found not guilty of two counts of rape relating to a unknown second girl, two counts of false imprisonment and one count of threatening to destroy or damage property.
Both victim’s identies are protected by the courts as they are underage.
Richards has yet to be sentenced and will face judgement at Leicester Crown Court at a later date set for Monday, November 9th. Detective Constable Chris Perry, of Leicestershire Police’s child sexual exploitation unit (CSE) called the case a “horrific crime” and a “wicked act.”
“Churchill-Richards has committed a horrific crime in which he took advantage of a young girl for his own sexual gratification.
“He knew what he was doing – he provided her with drink and drugs in order to ensure that he was able to carry out such a wicked act.
“It’s difficult to put into words just how serious these offences are and the impact it has had – and will continue to have – on his victim.”
